2008 "Tools of Trade" Show - Many agent's atteneded NMRA's "Tools of the Trade" Show this year! The Courtyards of Andover did a great job to accommodate the show and the food was delicious. There were 53 exhibitors this year and many attendees were lucky winners of their generous door prizes.

NAR's  Conference & Expo, Las Vegas 2007- NMRA Members attended the 2007 REALTOR® conference in Las Vegas. This event offered hundreds of programs, networking opportunities, technology classes and much more. Unfortunately, this time what happened in Las Vegas didn't stay there!

NMRA's First Annual Blood Drive, November 9, 2007 - Members of the Association participated in this special event and helped save many lives! Has anything else you've done lately made you feel this good?

Toys for Joy Charity Auction, October 26, 2007 - This spectacular event raised over $11,000 which will be used to purchase gifts for children in the north metro for Christmas. NMRA would like to thank everyone who contributed to this exceptional event. We could not have done it without all of you!

Presidential Inauguration, October 10, 2007 - This exceptional evening was a sold out success. Outgoing President Jeff Dotseth said goodbye after a wonderful year and welcomed new President Rod Schimmel. President Rod Schimmel's theme for the upcoming year is "Community of all things Real Estate." He spoke about his excitement for the possibilities that could result from the real estate industry and the community working together. He also praised the North Metro REALTORS® Association for its professionalism and dedication to its members. Other 2007-2008 Officers installed were President-Elect Bob Day and Treasurer Jim Wright. Incoming directors Jan Hettwer-Dummer, Jim Hughes and Joyce Nordquist were also welcomed.

REALTORS® Rebuilding Communities, September 19, 2007 - The entire day turned out to be a huge accomplishment. The building began at 8:00am and the crew was finished by 1:30pm, three hours ahead of schedule! NMRA would like to thank all the volunteers for working hard and the sponsors for allowing this important project to take place. It is because of all of you that a family will soon have a home.

32nd Annual REALTOR® Golf Tournament, July 9, 2007- The Tournament turned out to be a great success. The golfers enjoyed the course and the gorgeous weather. The hole sponsors held a variety of games and gave prizes to the winners. Unfortunately, no one landed a hole in one to win the golf outings that were generously donated by Coldwell Banker Burnet. NMRA thanks everyone who participated in this event, it wouldn’t be a success without you. We look forward to seeing you out on the green again next year!

Toys for Joy Annual Golf Tournament, June 5, 2007 - The Toys for Joy Committee held their annual Toys for Joy Charity Golf Tournament which raises money to purchase toys and winter clothing during the holiday season for the less fortunate children in Anoka County.

NMRA Members Visit Members of Congress in Washington, DC (May 14 - 19, 2007) - Members of the North Metro REALTORS® Association attended the NAR Mid-Year Meetings and met with Minnesota Senators and Representatives.

Spanish Basics at NMRA: 25 members of the North Metro REALTORS® Association participated in our first "Spanish Basics" course, which was held each Monday from April 2 to May 7, 2007.
